East Down Building & Joinery was established in 1998, and since then has been proud to have completed building works across Northern Ireland.
We can help with decisions about building improvements prior to architects drawings. Due to our vast experience in this area we can give advice and ideas of how to potentially reclaim living space that already exists in your home but may be unused wasted space.
The possibilities can be endless and in most circumstances can provide for that much needed extra bedroom & ensuite, office space etc.
We can provide details of architects who will make the best use of the space you have to work with yet can still design projects which will meet all
building regulations without exceeding your budget.
In today's environment creating the extra living area required without over capitalising on your property can be vital if intending to sell your home in the near future.
Our firm has built a reputation for quality workmanship, cleanliness, reliability, competitive rates and have proved over and over our trustworthiness and our ability to work with customers should the need arise for deviation from plans for changes in circumstances etc.
The majority of our work comes from previous customers, recommendations and several architects, but we are always welcoming new customers and hope that our website can give you an insight into our company and offer what you are looking for.

Meningitis Research Foundation would like to thank Kenny Donaldson of East Down Building for his recent support in the charities first ever G.I. Joe event. The event which took place on Saturday 10th March at The Scout Centre in Crawfordsburn Country Park raised a super £3,785.50!
Meningitis Research Foundation rely almost entirely on voluntary donations and the support of local businesses to continue their vital work in Northern Ireland. The money raised will help fund research, raise awareness of the disease, operate the charities Freefone 24 hour helpline and support those affected. Special thanks to East Down Building for their participation on the day and contributing to this fantastic total.
Thank you Emma Collins Fundraising Officer Meningitis Research Foundation
